Open Question: Honeymoon in December?

My fiance and I are looking to go on our honeymoon in December (sometime after the 8th and before Christmas). What are your suggestions for travel during the winter? We live in the Pacific North West, and we are definitely looking to get away from the rain and go on an adventure (mountain biking, rock climbing, scuba diving, hiking, etc.), though it doesn't necessarily need to be a tropical destination....
